Burgundy and Pink Wooden Rose Bouquet

Pink and burgundy are such a beautiful combination.  They can be soft and feminine, yet vibrant and intriguing.  This wooden rose bouquet catches all of those attributes in one stunning table centerpiece.

Over 65 wooden roses (both rosebuds and half-open roses) comprise this bouquet.  The rose colors include:
White
Pink
Burgundy
Pink with a Burgundy Tip

Wooden roses can be enjoyed for months, and never need to be watered (wink, wink)!  To purchase your own bouquet, please email me:

Yellow, Red, and Green: A Citrus Bouquet of Wooden Roses

A client recently asked for a bright summery bouquet of wooden roses to give as a thank you gift.  We decided on citrus colors such as red, yellow, orange, and light green.  This is definitely one of my favorite color combinations because it is so cheerful.

The bouquet includes around 50 wooden rosebuds and 15 half-open roses.  The coordinating vase is very light-weight and perfect for mailing.  Below is a list of the wooden rose colors used:

Yellow
Yellow with a Bright Green tip
Yellow with an Orange tip
Yellow with a Red tip (I call this Fire)

Purple and White glitter bouquet

I was asked to make this bouquet as a surprise gift from a husband to his wife.

My instructions were to make it purple (her favorite color), creamy-white, and glittery.

Some rosebuds, some half-open roses, some glitter, some not.  It really made for a lovely combination.

Gentlemen, it is time to romance the special lady in your life!
(hint, hint)

She'll love you for it.

Christmas Barn Wedding flowers

When I think of Christmas, I usually think of reds and greens.  Maybe even a deep burgundy red and dark forest green like in this boutonniere.

This is what happens when traditional Christmas colors are mixed with a little pop of blue.  Isn't it spectacular?

Brides have such wonderful color ideas, and they always turn out so beautifully.

The barn wedding will also incorporate these same rose colors in the table decorations along with evergreen branches.

For this wedding, I used dried baby's breath and wooden roses in the following colors:
Burgundy
Romance red
Green w/ dark green tip
Dark green
Light blue w/ navy tip

All that glitters... a wedding in hot pink, teal blue & white

I love glitter.  It captures the light and adds an extra  bit of glamour, especially in the low lighting of a reception hall.

A few glitter-tipped half-open roses really pop when added to a bridal bouquet of rose buds.  How many flowers are there?  This bouquet was made with 80 rosebuds and 30 half-open roses tipped in pink, teal, and prisma glitter.

This bouquet looked like a big burst of fireworks on the 4th of July!

Wooden rose colors used:
Hot Pink
White
Light Blue (teal)
Pink w/Hot Pink tip
White w/Hot Pink tip

The groom's boutonniere had glitter tips to match the bridal bouquet.

The bride requested a variety of boutonnieres for the groomsmen, fathers, ushers, and ring-bearer.

Simply elegant.

A little Prisma Glitter can add glitz to a plain white rosebud.

This was the mother's corsage.  She had requested more blue than pink.

Rather than a plain corsage elastic, we added bracelets.  The fun part about using bracelets is that after the wedding you can remove the bracelet from the corsage and wear it for other occasions!  A beautiful keepsake from a special life event.

A smaller corsage for the flower girl.

A smaller bracelet, too.

The bridesmaid bouquet.

All that glitters... makes for a beautiful wedding.

Summer Festivals and Roses!

Nice weather has arrived, and it is time for summer festivals!  The rose booth has already made an appearance at Story City Scandinavian Days and the Rose Festival in State Center.  This year we have a bigger tent and a bigger booth!

Look for us again at the
Ames 4th of July celebration (July 4th),
Lincoln Highway Days in Nevada (August 28-29), and
Pufferbilly Days in Boone (September 8).

My friend, Dollie, has been helping out at the booth.  She has been so great to stick with me through hot muggy weather, sunshine, wind, and even a bit of rain.

This lovely rose arrangement was made with a combination of these colors:
Light Blue
White
Caribbean Blue
Orange w/ Burgundy tip

Some other fun bouquets included a yellow and purple combo...

a very popular pink and purple bouquet...

and a lovely green, orange, yellow, and peach bouquet.

Fortunately my littlest helper slept most of the morning.
zzzzz

Join us at an upcoming event and pick out your own colors for a custom bouquet.  You'll love it, I promise!

Recently I received a request for a unique wedding gift.  The idea was to create a frame of roses around an engagement photo.

The wedding colors were pink and blue, so I chose to use wooden roses in the following shades:
pink w/hot pink tip
navy
caribbean blue

The frame-wreath turned out beautifully, and I can't wait to see what interesting requests I receive in the future!
