This summer I decided to sell wooden roses at local festivals. It has been so much fun. I've met so many wonderful people. Plus, I've been able to witness how roses brighten our lives, mend relationships, and express love to others. Take a look!
This photo was taken in June at my very first booth in Story City. There were 20 colors of rose buds to choose from. By the end of the summer I had 56+ colors to choose from.
Here is a close-up of the rosebuds. Hot pink and purple are very popular color choices, as well as white, red, and (surprisingly) black!
Every color combination is beautiful! This bouquet (40 roses) has rosebuds in:
Yellow w/ red tip
Hot pink w/ purple tip
Caribbean blue
I love them!! I will definitely see you in October at the The ABWA (Business Women's Association) Fall festival will be held in Boone, at the fairgrounds, on October 22nd from 9am to 3 pm. There is a $1 admission at the door, which helps fund local scholarships. They have great baked goods, lunch, and lots of crafters, so plan a little bit of time to browse!
