Recently I received a request for a unique wedding gift.  The idea was to create a frame of roses around an engagement photo.

The wedding colors were pink and blue, so I chose to use wooden roses in the following shades:
pink w/hot pink tip
navy
caribbean blue

The frame-wreath turned out beautifully, and I can't wait to see what interesting requests I receive in the future!

A purple and navy wedding

Sometimes colors can be surprising.  This week I made some wedding arrangements in navy and purple.  The combination turned out to be even more elegant than I had imagined.  Take a look:

The white ribbon had a slight iridescent shimmer.  A pearl bead added just the right finishing touch.

The corsages included some pearl beads.  Some corsages were pin-on, and others were attached to pearl bracelets.  After the wedding, the flowers can be detached, and the bracelet can be worn as a keepsake piece of jewelry.

The bride's bouquet included 60 rose buds and 25 half-open roses in navy, purple, and white.

Although this photo was taken before the arrangements were completely ready, I'm including it to show the bridesmaid bouquet.  For the maid of honor, bridesmaids, and the toss bouquets, the bride chose to include white rosebuds tipped in navy, and white rosebuds tipped in purple.  They turned out beautifully, and the slightly different look really set apart the bouquets.  Beautiful bouquets for  a beautiful bride and a beautiful wedding!
