Nice weather has arrived, and it is time for summer festivals! The rose booth has already made an appearance at Story City Scandinavian Days and the Rose Festival in State Center. This year we have a bigger tent and a bigger booth!
Look for us again at the
Ames 4th of July celebration (July 4th),
Lincoln Highway Days in Nevada (August 28-29), and
Pufferbilly Days in Boone (September 8).
My friend, Dollie, has been helping out at the booth. She has been so great to stick with me through hot muggy weather, sunshine, wind, and even a bit of rain.
This lovely rose arrangement was made with a combination of these colors:
Light Blue
White
Caribbean Blue
Orange w/ Burgundy tip
Some other fun bouquets included a yellow and purple combo...
a very popular pink and purple bouquet...
and a lovely green, orange, yellow, and peach bouquet.
Fortunately my littlest helper slept most of the morning.
